Party Rules
- Obey the DMs. The dungeon monitors (DMs) will be wearing hot pink vests labeled “DM”. If you need safer sex supplies or help ask them.
- No recording. Don’t take photos or videos.
- Discrimination has no place here. Disrespect based on race, gender identity and expression, sexual/BDSM orientation, ability, age, relationship geometry, ethnicity, religion or lack thereof, or body type will not be tolerated. (This is not an exhaustive list.)
- Don't be a jerk. No interrupting scenes (And yes, self-play, such as a self-suspension, is still a scene!). Respect personal space. Respect people’s gender identity and pronouns. Don’t make assumptions. Check your privilege at the door.
- No harassment of any kind. Do not stalk, lurk, stare, follow, badger, touch without permission or otherwise act like a creep.
- Don't be sloppy. No illegal drugs and no prescription drug abuse. No excessive drinking.
- Respect safe words. The party safe word is “RED”. The phrase “Leave me alone" is the party social safe word for avoiding all interaction. The party safe signal is a tap-out.
- Practice good consent. Ask for what you want and accept the answer. The absence of a “no” doesn’t mean “yes”. Don’t pressure or badger people to play. Learn more about good Consent Practices.
- No barebacking (safer sex supplies will be provided). This includes genital sex, anal sex, oral sex, hand sex, and toy sex.
- No Guns. Guns of any kind, including replica guns, are not permitted at Cakehole.
- Communicate with the DMs. Let the DMs know before starting any scenes involving blood, fire/wax, or consensual nonconsent. If you are engaging in a scene where communication is restricted, such as when gags are used, please check in with a DM so our safety staff knows what safe signals are being used. If you are planning on doing any scenes that could be triggering for other people at the party, please let us know beforehand so we can section off an area of the play space for you.
- Fire Safety. A fire extinguisher should be near the playspace at all times during fireplay, if you need one please ask a DM. Any scene involving fire wands requires a fire blanket. Fuel for fireplay scenes is to be stored in glass, metal, or ceramic containers, no plastic containers are permitted for this purpose.
- Medical Safety. All medical scenes involving needles require a sharps container. Attendees are expected to bring their own medical grade sharps container, no substitutions or other kinds of containers will be allowed for this purpose.
If you start a scene with the intent of drawing blood, it is expected that you bring your own medical supplies for bandaging and cleaning wounds.
If you engage in blood play, do not have adequate clean-up supplies/bandages, and there is no available solution to protect other attendees from cross-contamination, you will be asked to leave.
In the case of a Medical emergency/unintentional blood draw, ask a DM to direct you to the First Aid kit. - Don't make a mess. No poop, pee or vomit play. Blood play allowed over a chuck. Clean up after your scenes and leave your playspace like you found it.
